3-hour life drawing sessions in February and March

We have decided to try having 3-hour sessions when there is one pose for the next two months, February and March. That is, there will be a 3-hour session every other week from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. If there is sufficient interest we will extend the 3-hour sessions beyond March.  For now the following dates will have 3-hour sessions:

 January 28
 February 11 and February 25
 March 11 and March 25.

The sessions will run from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The door to the warehouse will be opened from 6:40 to 7:00 pm. For more information on Wednesday-night life-drawing sessions go here.

The model for the January 14 life-drawing session is Sylvia. There will be one pose. The session is scheduled to run 2 hours from 7:00-9:00 PM. As usual, the door to the warehouse will be opened from  6:40-7:00 PM.

Sunday, January 4, 2015

Wednesday-night life drawing will be longer (3 hours) on January 7.

We are trying an experiment to see how a longer life-drawing session will work. We would like to have a longer session in the schedule to give painters a chance to finish their sketches.

The drawing session will be three hours instead of two hours Wednesday, January 7. The session will run for 3 hours from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. The door to the warehouse will be opened from 6:40 to 7:00 PM. As usual, if you arrive after 7:00 PM call 651 278-5128 and we will come downstairs to let you in.

There will be one pose for the evening.  The model, Lana, will do three to four gesture poses and then the artists will vote on the pose they would like to have that evening. The model will take a break every 20 minutes.

The fee will be $8 for the first 2 hours. At 9:00 PM we will collect an additional $5 from those artists who wish to stay for the final hour. There will be a tip jar.
